360 degree Learning

First in Meerut | Virtual Reality Campus

Virtual Reality-based experience increases students’ motivation Inspires creative learning.

Since the start of formal teaching, we have been more inclined to through pen and paper. Teaching by experiments came later and how we are looking at a new level of immersive learning in the form of virtual reality. In it, students will be transported to another programmed world through the use of feedback headsets, tactile gloves and motion sensors. While there, they can interact with all objects present in the 3D landscape. These objects will be programmable to give them as real a look and feel as possible.

Virtual reality is bound to hold the attention of student of a student as he/she travels through a 3D landscape on a exploratory route. It would be like a movie in which the student is the lead actor. VR would complement the classroom teaching with more student participation and information retention.

Virtual Reality promotes creativity among students as they are exposed to learn through constructionism…….VR promotes the best and probably only strategy that allows students to learn from non-symbolic first-person experience. It provides a route to success for children who might otherwise find difficult to understand concepts in our traditional education system as it is currently exists.

VR allows student to progress at their own pace without being held back at a class schedule while also motivating them to learn. The motivation stems from the fact that they become participants in their own learning by deep interactivity that would ensure that they are much more interested in grasping the concepts than in a normal classroom session.

Benefits of VR in Education:

  • Active rather than passive experience.
  • Immersive engagement with no distractions.
  • Immediate engagement: useful in today’s world of limited attention spans.
  • Exploration and hands on approach aids with learning and retention.
  • Enables understanding of complex subjects/theories/concepts
  • Suited to all types of learning styles, e. g. visual.
